Hey, just wanted to get everyone's take on what to do with small pairs with 1 or less limpers. By small pair i mean from 22-66.

Currently, i'm opening them from every position, and that's not being very profitable at all. I know my sample size is small, but they don't seem very profitable from early or middle position.

I know i'm getting rid of them from EP, but what about MP?

FR or 6max? I mean I think it's pretty much player dependent and depends on stuff but it's never too big of a mistake to fold those even in 6max. There's a thread in the 6max forum in the stickies if you want to read more responses.

I open all small pairs in all positions on some tables. On some I don't. If you play 5nl and you suck, limp and set mine. If someone limps in front of you your decision should depend on what you think of that player and what you think of the people behind you/in blinds.

Personally. I open all PP including 22-66 from every position though sometimes I will limp in the SB or BB and occasionally on the button with 22. If you miss the flop it's easy to fold the low ones. If you hit you bet bet bet bet. It's pretty straight forward actually.

oooo i wasn't specific enough.
FR and at 25nl for now.

I hate open limping, think its a huge weakness in a lot of new players, I never open limp.

So basically its me open or fold, for EP and MP. In LP i'm opening for sure.

Fold from EP.

You won't be paid off often enough, run into a hand too often and will have trouble being creative out of position.
