I’m a new player just trying to learn about the game and I’d love to become a pro. There’s a show on TV ‘How to become a poker Millionaire’ that’s all about the skills you need to become a pro the show is called How to become a poker millionaire and it's on youtube now.
what do you guys think? It seems really interesting apparently they will interview a different pro each week, next week it’s Brian Townsend and then Phil Ivey and Devilfish in Bobby’s room the Bellagio. They say that one of the novices will become a pro after four weeks and get a seat at the WSOP. there are loads of clips online, they're really helpful

It's a lot of math, a lot of patience and self control, and it's probably at least 98% less glamorous than you think... Even for the top pro's - take a look at the interview with Brat Booth if you can find it.
Tells are generally overrated, and they sure are overrated online... Maybe not "overrated" nobody really talks about it. There are some little tells that you can pick up on, but there are much more important things.
Basically you just make a minimum deposit at some site, read a poker book and see if you can't win some money.

Become a pro in four weeks? I think some one is trying to sell you some snake oil. Don't buy it.
