Hell0 all:

Well I'm new on here, and have several on line room accounts, and would like to make a real money deposit, to play for those .25 and .50 blinds, BUT though two of the sites I'm on, Doyle's Room and Full Tilt, say they take US accounts, they will not accept my Credit Card, and try to steer me towards some sort of direct debit deal. This is not acceptable. Does anyone know any site that will allow you to make a deposit with your credit card, if you are a US resident with no b.s.? Or is that impossible now thanks to our pinhead congress?

Thanks in advance
Bruce

I paly on Sportsbook. They take CC's no problem. Not sure if thats all Cake sites but Sportsbook is super easy to deposit.

Even before the gaming act you couldn't use most credit cards - because of the questionable legality a few people tried to run up huge debts from deposits to poker, then not pay the CC company since it was 'illegal'. Plus, CC companies view gamblers as a risk for some weird reason. I doubt the site is turning down your card, your card is turning down your site.

My CCs never worked - my debit card worked back in 2004 and early 2005, then never again. I guess I haven't tried in a couple of years.

If you aren't willing to jump through a hoop or two you just can't get money on anymore, which is why we all hate the act.
