Online poker straddle?
I have never seen this online. Is there a reason for this or is there poker sites that alow this. It happens everyonce in a while when I play live.
Just curious??

My guess is because it's optional and comes and goes. The straddle may be on for an entire session or for a couple of rounds. You COULD have it online on a private table/high stakes where everyone knows everyone else but it wouldn't work for the general masses when people can come and go so fast.

A straddle bet is ridiculous. Why would anyone voluntarily bet blind? If you want to have a third blind, just add one into the game. I don't see this working online though.
Well, strike that. I love it when someone straddles in front of me.

Action. The more money in a pot already the more people would (likely) open up and play. Means a much looser, chips flying everwhere type of table.
Everyone turns into Sammy Fahar and Freedy Deeb, basically.
