I played for a few hours last night in MTT, SitnGo's, and Cash games and swear I just could not catch anything all night. I don't remember being dealt a pocket pair over 5's all night, or two face cards at the same time, or suited connectors and just felt like I'd never played before and should have just chalked it up to a bad night and left earlier. Luckily I didn't go on complete tilt and managed to get out before it got real ugly but when do you say its best to walk away and try again another time? I guess Kenny Rogers knew this lesson

if you feel like you are in a losing situation, just walk away. it will be there tommorow when you have had time to clear your head and come back focused.

bad runs of cards happen to everyone. you need to learn how to minimize your losses during these stretches, and maximize your winnings during your hot streaks.
