I cannot lay down aces (or kings) unless it's PAINFULLY obvious that I'm beaten. KK getting raised on an ace-high flop usually works, but really my problem lies with AA.
Now, I dont lose with AA, who does? But I pay off every flopped set like clockwork. I pay off most flopped flushes, unless there's two other guys in there raising and reraising.
It almost seems like it's worth paying off the set because of how often lower overpairs are paying off, or TPNK or whatever else pays off. You guys agree?
Do you worry about getting outflopped by a PP? Or just take it in stride?
While we're talking about that, I'm obviously a set-hunter also, and I love guys that can't lay overpairs. But I don't expect them to, that's why I love to camp for sets. Are we all just trading money around here, paying the rake? Or can you guys make that fold?
I really just can't see folding aces on any board that's not paired, 3-flushed, or makes a straight or obvious two pair like 9QK. I could fold on that board to a lot of action.
Maybe when I get to like 200NL I could see it here and there.

Depends on the limit and the knowledge of the specific opponent.
Up to 50NL I was not folding AA unless it was TOO obvious I was beat.
At 200 and 400NL where the players are actually thinking, I am usually driven by read/opponent/my image etc. Did he limp/call or flat called preflop? Did he raise and you re-raised him?Folding AA on seemingless "innocent" boards has become more common now.

how extensive are your notes onplayers? foundthis hepls a lot. If ive found players who will limp bullshit to my preflop raises then i tend to push over them, its when i have players who i knowwill limp and then call a raise with a pp that i dont like if they call me. If it were me, if i get reraised id call and try to showdown for cheap.
I think its probably justa matter of discipline, but try not to pay opps off with your stack oif your beat, then imo your at least contolling the pot size when you might be beat

It's not what's inside that counts. Have you seen what's inside?
Internal organs. And they're getting uglier by the minute.
