Well i get delt pocket q some guy goes all in, does he have pocket ks or maybe even aces no i dont think so he sucks so i call his all in with my own all in 100k chips vs my 80 k(to this point the guy was winning alot of bluff hand and getting lucky on the river ) everyone else folds.
We flip he has pocket 3's threes im thinking i would never go all in with pocket 3's then the flop comes 8,k,4 then comes a 6. OK im going to the final i got this chump out its about time yes im all happy then the river card comes and its a 3 a FREAKIN 3 third time today i had this crap go down. Am i playing the cards wrong or just real bad luck?

Pocket 3s will beat pocket Qs 100% of the time when a 3 comes on the river.
Btw, you did nothing wrong..... anytime you get all your chips in being an 80% favorite you're golden... Suckouts happen.

Ok so i got nother 1 for you guys whats a better hand to bet big on pocket kings or a A and a q?because i seem to get beat every time i got the pockets starting to piss me off lol think it may even be starting to make me tilt Thank god its freebs lol

Well today its been to early to have a real read on anyone but not even 7 minutes ago it has gone down again pockets aa beat by pocket 5s on the river its almost unreal 5 mother fing times today aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaarg.IM keeping spirit up thinking just a bad day but The odds are just being freakish today not adding up at all . people are going all in and im calling whith strong aa or kk and one time qq (qq i dont trust as much )the preson had 2 times more chips then me so i knew he would call my all in as it was about 20 % of what he had .
The chip count didnt really have anything to do with how i called the game i had a strong hand sure i couldnt be beat 80 % of the time.
So what i ask should i not be so fast to call a all in with pocket kings or ace, so far in my 1 and a half years of online play it dont work out wtf am i just that unlucky or what my god lol?!
Play big on pockets or play em safe ?

yeah i looked back on it when I wasnt so pissed and i know there always gonna be days like that. Guess i just let my bad mood get to my poker game . Oh and the BEARS WIIIIIIIIIIIINNNN WOOOOOOOHOOOOOO

If your getting bad luck, just know it will be counterbalanced when your A3 sucks out on AA on the bubble. It all works out in the end my friend.

This is my standard response for these sorts of situations.
Say I give you a standard 6-sided die and tell you that if you roll 1-4, I give you $10, if you roll 5-6 you give me $10. Don't you keep on rolling that die until your arm drops off or until I go broke? Sure, you could roll 5-6 several times in a row but over the long term this is a great bet. Now, assume I made the bet $1 million - unless you are very wealthy you shouldn't be rolling the die at all even though you're getting great odds (aka bankroll management is very important).
In the case of AA the analogy is even more stark - it's like me paying you $10 if you roll 1-5, you pay me if you roll a 6.

I've never read this before. It's an EXCELLENT analogy that makes both odds and bankroll management very clear.
