Is that standard for online? Do all sites not rake a pot that is won preflop?

Are B&M games the same way?

Clearly,I have not been paying enough attention to things like that.

Q. Is poker Gambling?
A. Do you use correct bankroll management?

In Australia there is only one casino in most of the Capital cities so some of them act, well, like anyone who has a monopoly...

My local (Sydney) B&M gets their rake by taking $1.50 of EVERYONE sitting the the table before every hand at the $5/$10 Limit table. This is also the lowest limit offered.

!

Yep.

You're essentially paying 2 * the blinds ($30) per orbit on a full table... you obviously wouldn't want to be trying to make a living there when there are other options.
