Have about 50K experience in SS limit. For all intents and purposes brand new to cash NLHE (12K hands) but really trying to learn. I read the min bets and raises here as being a sign that nobody had much of nothing. I RR on the river for value figuring I had the best hand, or to win the pot without a SD. Was this dumb?

The reraise on the river is good but the sizing is terrible. Your betsize only gets a tiny bit extra value when you are ahead and gives the second raiser one more chance to make a raise that will put you in a tough spot.

A larger raise to say 55c is much better and just calling wouldnt be terrible. I would probably bet the turn aswell though unless they are quite tight. High overpairs can usually be played for stacks at 2NL if the villains are just calling down.
gabe: Ive dropped almost 100k in the past 35 days.

bigspenda73: But how much did you win?
