what are the major differences? tighter hands in NL, i assume, right?

I think I'd play depending on the blinds. On a SnG, I'd probably limp in with 44 early on or semi-bluff on a flop or hope to hit a set.
But when the blinds are high with less players... I seem to be trying to steal the blinds or end up confronting a coin-toss situation (people that call probably have AXs, or some high suited connectors). To make things worse, if they have a pair, then you're screwed.
