Hello,
I am new to this forum, and poker in general. For the past few months I have been playing poker almost blind, with just the hand rankings in my head and m0ney burning a hole in a pocket.
However, I have grown to really enjoy playing and so would really like to learn...everything. (If only to stop the taunts and insults in the chat box )
What I need is one book that not only gives me basic strategy but also odds (pot odds, implied odds and all that. I'm not very good with maths so something basic would be excellent).
Any advice or information you could put forward would also be greatly appreciated.
Thank you.

I second all of the above. You will be pleasantly surprised how profitable your game will be .... IF YOU COMPLETE THE ASSIGNMENT ABOVE. Just like school, don't do the homework, don't pass the course (exceptions noted for those of us who avoided any and all homework during our educational process).
