hi there... i've posted a couple times but never really gotten into it...
as of January 1, 2005 i started playing online poker for "big money" instead of paradise 2 dollar no limit  . started with 200 dollars which multiplied to about 900 in 2 months... +70 buyins at TGC's 10 no limit tables... not bad.
I was not properly br'd for party poker bonus whoring... did that and all the skins and found myself at about 1500... now 1500 is quite a bit of money for a student like me... and i was quite happy.
Now... 5 months later i've been doing the monthly bonuses and am up to about 2800 and feel very comfortable 8 tabling party/empire 25 NL... haven't been able to make the switch up to 50 NL just cause i can't stomach the swings yet... that'll come though...
just looking for any recommendations of how i can win more.. my goal is to have 4000 before mid summer so i can buy a new computer... any feedback would be nice on how i can do this. thanks

buy Poker Tracker for 55 bucks. it will help you see if there are any more subtle things that you can improve, like how many hands you play preflop, how often you raise, how often you win if you see a showdown, stuff like that. really helpful.

IF your CPU can handel 8-tabiling it should be able to handle PT

Don't mean any disrespect, but 8-tabeling is not playing poker. If you are making money, which is likely if you just camp out and play AA, KK and AK I guess there's no harm in that but sounds like it ain't much fun.
Move up to 50 level and lay off the gas. Play 2-4 tables. Same level of risk but you can enjoy the game.

So you're going to build up to 4K, then spend all your hard work on one purchase and start from scratch again? Tough... I would rather finance the PC and make the monthly payments with some of my poker winnings that just blow it all at once, IMHO...

but good job by the way, those are awesome results. To answer your question though (making more money) you NEED to move up in limits, if you are a disciplined good player you will be alright. You have more than enough of a bankroll.
