Im a former SnG player and i know how to beat SnGs. But what about cashgames.

If a very good player plays cashgame, how much should he expect to get BB/100 hands?

This is at 25NL tables. 4 tabling

Any guide or tips i should know about before i go over to cashgames? Any good articles?

i used to hear people say that the 25's can be beat for 10ish/100. i think anything over 5 is pretty much crushing that game. anything over 3 is a solid winner, provided your sample size is decently large...25k+, imo.

I've seen both of those videos. Maybe a dozen times of the gus vs daniel.

The biggest difference between cash vs sng are the number of options you and your oponent have at your disposal. This is because the stacks are deeper. This makes for more mistakes.

I'm a cash game man myself. I strictly played in tournaments for a time until I realized how much easier the money was to acquire in cash games.

The money can be good. You can also go broke though, so be careful. I like cash games for a couple reasons - you can immediately buy back in, the person you've been dragging through the mud all night can keep buying back in(haha), always in the money, come and go as you please, better competition.
Feels like I'm climbing in a tree.

you can buy back in...you can also leave whenever you want. ie, wife starts yelling, kids start crying, ran out of beer....D) all of the above.

crack, i like your avatar. like to see a newer guy actively posting all over the place, too. welcome aboard.

This seems like an active board. This is my first time at a poker forum, so I'm glad it's actually active.

You'll be seeing me more and more I suppose. I've set the date to 3-6 months I will be completely financially dependent on poker. So, that means more days like these, instead of the 40+ hour weeks at the bs job.

It hit me, I'm making more each week at only ONE home game I go to then I do at work each week. I'm praying this goes smoothly.
