On a different note - while I was on holiday I decided to teach a friend NL hold'em. He had the vaguest of ideas about the game, and is a very intelligent person with the right attitude. But he had SO little experience of the game that most of the concepts even people who've been playing a month take for granted hasn't been implanted in his brain. It's for THIS guy that I think 19-hand strategy is one of the best/easiest methods of becoming used to the game.
