I keep getting killed w/ these hands.

Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em, $ BB (9 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: FlopTurnRiver)

CO ($90.46)
Hero ($195)
SB ($151.65)

UTG ($166.42)

Preflop: Hero is Button with K, 5. SB posts a blind of $1.
UTG calls $2, 1 fold, MP1 calls $2, 3 folds, Hero calls $2, SB (poster) completes, BB checks.

Flop: ($10) A, 7, 8 (5 players)
SB checks, BB checks, UTG checks, MP1 bets $7, Hero calls $7, SB folds, BB folds, UTG calls $7.

Turn: ($31) Q (3 players)
UTG checks, MP1 checks, Hero checks.

River: ($31) 2 (3 players)
UTG bets $10, MP1 calls $10, Hero raises to $30,UTG raises all in $147.42, MP1 folds, Hero calls $127.42.

Final Pot: $352.34

I also have a K2s hand: -173.5, flopped nut Flush,villain drew Str8t Flush
and a 98s hand:-88.65 flopped flush villain pushed AI, villain had TT(no set)hit river for a T high flush.

These 4 hands cost me -$618.57 any suggestions???

Not much you can really do about it. The second hand where you flopped the flush you prob knew you were beat, so why did you rr the turn? Was the player aggressive enough to 3 bet the flop with a str8 on that board?

The hand with the king high, you cant lay it down imo because you beat his range. Even if you think he may have a flush you could have him outkicked. Chalk it up to bum luck man, what are you going to do. If it makes you feel better i stacked off 4 times this week with set under set on the flop. Thats why good players have variance. Just keep grinding man, i think you played the hands decent.

I really hate these kinds of hands (Kxs/SC's) for this reason. They have huge reverse implied odds and in the case of SC's you rarely get paid off by lower flushes unless maybe your connectors are like QJ or something. I think I might even prefer offsuit connectors lol.

Well the 2nd hand I didn't think flush I thought set. He raised PF w/ T5s??? I was sure I could stack him w/ the flush. Obviously I was wrong. Who in the hell raises T5s?

 I don't play 200NL, but aren't these both easy folds pre-flop?

Drawing to anything but the nut flush is always dangerous. I will seldom call any serious bet if I'm drawing to a Kxs flush or lower - if you make the flush and get put to a decision for all your chips, what are you going to do?

If you have a flush and you're going to call a bet you need to ask yourself a few questions:

1) Am I in front?
2) If I believe I'm in front, why aren't I raising?
3) If I don't believe I'm in front, why am I committing chips to this hand?

Well w/ hand 1:
1) I had the 2nd nuts.( It looked like a missed C/R turn.Had him on a set, AQ, AK, and a flush.)
2) I did raise.
3) Not applicable.

Hand 2:
1)I thought I was good.(Had him on overpair, AT+, set)
2)I did raise. (pushed turn in case he had 1 bigger heart.)
3)Not applicable.
