so i decided to screw TAgg play unless a table was so full of maniacs that camping would indeed be profitable. playing 100NL online, here are my stats over 4.7k hands (small sample, but gives a general idea):

vp$ip: 28.52%
bb/100: 38.52
wtsd: 25%
w$sd: 78%
pfr: 8.9%

ive almost tripled my bb/100 and can run 3 tables at once while doing this strategy. it gets me paid off huge on big hands and i can usually push people off better hands while avoiding paying them off.

the issues ive come to face, is that by playing LAgg, im seeing a lot of flops...therefore how many hands should i be raising preflop and how many should i be limping. right now i think i limp too much. i think i might find a standard raise and raise everything i play to that. you cannot play passively w/ this technique because it bleeds chips like hell. you have to be extraordinarily aggressive postflop.

thoughts?

in addition, this has helped me to push smaller edges on the river... like AJ on an Axxxx board, and the smaller edges definitely add up. (ps, im only betting AJ if i feel i have the guy beat - reads matter a lot here)

You're w$sd is enormous. I think you might be on a real hot streak. If after even 10k hands you're still +20, you might have something goin here.

Yes, be careful that it's not just an upswing. Of course you'll happily take any hot streak that comes along, but you don't want to try to predict future success on it. I recently had about a 10K hand streak of close to 25BB/100 hands, but since then I've been treading water for probably my last 10K hands, hardly making money at all - and my play hasn't changed significantly, either. It's natural variance.

I've played this way at 100 NL, and you have to be VERY smart about it. Every single player goes into trap mode and sometimes gets the best of you.

This style only works if they are folding to flop bets, in loose games, just check your missed flops.
take your ego out of the equation and judge the situation dispassionately
