Hero (SB) ($5.89)
BB ($2.21)
UTG ($1.46)
UTG+1 ($2.04)
MP1 ($4.78)
MP2 ($1.93)
CO ($2.96)
Button ($0.33)

Preflop: Hero is SB with 6, 6
2 fold, MP1 bets $0.10, 1 fold, CO raises to $0.30, 1 fold, HERO ?

If I call the c/o and hit my set and manage to stack the c/o im getting around 9.86 to 1. ($2.96 / .30 )

If the MP1 comes with us too, im getting about 25.8 to 1. ($2.96 + $4.78) / .30

Is it my initial $0.30 bet divided by their stack sizes, assuming I have them covered ?

Those numbers are the cap on what you can win, yes, but you'll never win that much on average.

I have no interest in discussing strategy with a protege'. Your job is to remain quiet and listen. I have a very systematic approach that I will share with the right candidate and I promise that I will turn you into a force of nature and show you elements of the game of poker that you never knew existed.

And what happens if MP 4bets? What if he folds? It's very read dependent and you're chasing a set OOP where you *might* only be getting 10:1 odds. You're correct that you'd have 26:1 odds *if* MP calls. It's all in how you think MP acts after you call and what type of players they are.

Be much more willing to set hunt against aggro opponents who can't laydown top pair/overpair type hands, even more so in position.

Set mining out of position is generally not going to be profitable. When in position, the 15:1 rule is used to justify those times when we dont stack them and hit..like say if they had AK when they raised and didnt flop a A or K.
