So, I've completed an affiliate program on Party and I now have a $130 bankroll, none of which is from my own pocket. Cool. Being under bankrolled for Party as I am, I am pondering my next move. I've seen suggestions of Pacific, PokerStars and the like, but I'm having a hard time deciding what to do. It then occured to me to ask! So, I'm asking. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

To get a good answer, you will have to tell us what you like to play. Ring, Tourney... what?

I like to play Limit and Pot Limit ring games and the occasional No Limit SnG, of the reletively low buy-in variety.

First you need to specialize in one game. It goes without saying the only playing one specific type of game will help you leaps and bounds. Trust me on that.
Here is my advice for each choice you could make on what type of game to play:
Limit Ring: Start out playing the .25/.50 Limit Ring at Poker Stars.
PL Ring: Play the .05/.10 PL Ring at Poker Stars.
NL SnG: Play the $5+$1 SnGs at Party Poker.
In Limit Ring, you need 300 Big Blinds to move up to the next level (ie. you would need $300 to move up to .5/1).
In PL Ring, you need 15 buyins to move up to the next level (ie. $375 to move up to .10/.25).
For NL SnGs, you need 30 buyins to move up to the next level (ie. $300 to move up to $10 SnGs).

You're right, I think I'll stick to Limit for now. I've heard the tables are pretty tight at PokerStars, even at the low limits. Is this not the case?

It's not too bad, you will just notice that the play won't get any better if you switch to Party to play .5/1 through to 2/4.
The Stars low limit games are very beatable, and you will find that when you do get the bankroll to move up to the bigger games, the Stars games will get tighter, and it is then that you should transfer back to Party, as the .5/1 to 2/4 games there are no better than the Stars .25/.50.
Good luck!

NL SnG: Play the $5+$1 SnGs at Party Poker.
agg, no, the rake & structure on these is awful, if you want to play SNG go with PS... sounds like you can start playing both there, then you can decide if you want to leave a little BR there to keep doing SNG after you take move to party for the ring.

Yeah, a %20 vig is pretty steep. That's the one thing I don't like about Party SnG's. Should be $5 + .50 if you ask me.
What's everyones impression of Pacific for limit ring games?
