I was looking at my PokerOffice stats this morning to see what I could learn about my game. I still only have about 2700 hands at 10NL, which I know is a small sample.

When I called up the hand analysis tab, I noticed something... I win most of my money when I raise with good hands. And even more when I am first in with a raise and a good hand.

Ok, Ok.. the experienced poker players will think: Well, DUH!

It is was just good to see that my trying to be more agressive and raise more than call is actually working.

Wiining with good hads is great. Wiining with raised hands are even better. I like to look at my pocket pairs every now and then and find I win more with JJ and TT then I do with AA or KK. (QQ - Well, lets just say I had one really bad hand which put my stats to hell).

To be the first to raise pre-flop shows others you have strength. I like to raise 4xBB+1BB per each limper before me and before you know it, all or all but one fold, and I wtill win the hand 80% of the time.
