The scenario is I'm playing the micros 10nl and feeling pretty good about my game, I've done well the last few sessions. Today I'm up over 3 buy-ins and have a very solid read on everyone, and here is where my Charles Barkley hitch take effect.

FPS kicks in, one example is in position I'm trying to outplay guys who are tilting/weak players with air trying to get them to fold hands like MP/weak TP. If I were to guess I probably invest avg. $3 in these plays and what's bad eventually one of these plays go to showdown and now they never believe me. I'm also trying to make plays to catch these guys and bust them.

It just eats away at all the work you done, call it ego, call it cocky, it's plain exploitable and it's got to stop. ABC123 style poker is the only way for these stakes.

Hopefully by admitting I have a problem now I can realize it and fix it!

yep! don't try making people fold, they usually wont

instead just hit your hand and put their exploitable tendency to good use. aka value town

This happens to me too. It's a bit tough to do that at these stakes...save it for later! Grind your way up so you can actually play fancy! It's tough to make fish fold...which makes these stakes easily beatable.

That's how winners play; we convince the other guy he's making all the right moves.

I think it's perfectly possible to push weak players off at any level, even $2NL if your read is good. But as soon as you get caught with your pants down, you better start playing honest.
<@d0zer> how will you learn if I don't berate you harshly?

Against call stations don't try to push them off hands - they're call stations ^^. They'll call you down when you have a hand, so the value you lose when you miss will be more than made up for.
If you planned to "suck out" you did the first half.
