I have been using AOK's 19 Hand syaytem with my ring games (mixing it up with Sklansky's Hand Groupings and am loving my results.

Any advice for MTT groupings pre flop? Especially a MTT with no REBUYS.
Such as, when I limp with KJ, and then am raised 3x BB pre flop. Ring games I would fold, but in a MTT should I?

I know position is a HUGE factor in MTT, and ideas? A chart or something like that for each position fre flop and the blinds would be great.

I know advanced players dont go off of charts but as a novice, I would like to have some type of mapping to start my exploration and opening up my play.

Also, any think really different I should be incorporating into my MTT play post flop? I am mostly experianced in ring games.

Read the stickies in the MTT section.

The reason a chart won't help you is because MTTs are all about blind structures. As the blinds become a bigger and bigger proportion of your chip stack, the more and more aggressive you are going to have to become.

For a beginner, play super tight early on. Between 1/3 and 1/2 of an MTT knocks themselves out during the first hour of a tourney. The goal really is to outlast the donks, and then get lucky once the blinds get bigger.

I've played about 6 freerolls at PS (granted thats not many but I'm a beginner as well ), MTT with about 5000 entrants.

I try to do exactly as chadrian says, super tight, and let the field come way down.

All six of my tourneys I have got to the top third and into the second hour ... but once the second hour comes around I get dominated by people that have already built a big stack and I bust out.

I need more practice
