After 26.5k hands of 200nl this month, I'm running pretty bad. I'm down almost $2600. My net run on all-ins is -$775. I'm up $42.80 with AA, which I've been dealt 126 times. To give you an idea, last month I had AA 300 times at the same stakes and was up over $5800 with it. I don't remember off hand my last winning day of poker.

Now, if you're unaware of my latest misadventure, check this thread first (don't worry, it's short): http://www.flopturnriver.com/phpBB2/...nk-t67064.html

So I got up this morning at 6:30 am, like I usually do. I did a bit of reading, got some food, got my girl up for work and took a big semi-bloody shit. Then we took a shower, watched a little bit of TV. She left for work, and I got to the computer, read a few posts, made a few posts, and started playing.

Feeling as bad as I do, and running as bad as I have, why in the living fuck would I play this morning? The answer is here obv:

C'mon, you gotta love it.

I have no interest in discussing strategy with a protege'. Your job is to remain quiet and listen. I have a very systematic approach that I will share with the right candidate and I promise that I will turn you into a force of nature and show you elements of the game of poker that you never knew existed.

i am deeply disturbed that you took a bloody shit and the first thing you were able to do was get your girl in the shower to clean your bloody ass off...

all things considered, i still am having a hard time this month finding an FTR reg having an abnormally GOOD month. we all seem downish.

online poker is rigged against FTR? lol.

Despite having quads THREE TIMES (I swear stars is quad-happy) I ran breakeven over 2k hands of 0.5/1 LHE today. That sucks way more than losing at 200NL.

So what am I going to do? Play 3k hands tomorrow of course!

P.S
What makes this really suck is that I was playing 1/2 yesterday but made a withdrawal which took me $10 below my new ultra-strict bankroll limits for 1/2. I mean... shit..... I only wanted 10bb for fuck's sake!!

Edit: And just to add to my ramblings in this thread - I like to think of running bad as "saving up" for a shit hot run.

Wait, this is .05/.10 and you got sexied, I can't believe that shit, limit must really be dying.[/quote]

I've noticed this too, and it makes me lol, although it's obviously just coincidence.

And I don't think of it as running bad or running good. I'm too busy running hard. Ya dig?

Yeah I'd definitely rather be losing because of random bullshit than because I suck.
