Starting off with only $50.
What do you guys think is the best way to build a roll?
Any opinions?
I hate that they don't offer $2 Sit N Go's.
Should i start in the Micro-stake Ring games? Or Sit N Go's?

I'm leaning towards the $1 Sit N Go's. Hopefully i can roll myself to play the $3 fairly quickly.

Once I'm at $150 is it safe to play the $5 Sit N Go's? That's 30 Buy-In's.

What am i rolled for if i play micro-stakes?

Soon as i hit $200-$250 or deposit more money , whichever comes first I will play mainly limit ring games , and Omaha 8/O. Is $250 enough to play at .50/1.00 Limit Hold Em? How about Omaha 8/O.

I know i have like 5 questions in here but answers to any of them will help. I'm horrible with bankroll management when it comes to poker. When i first started playing i put $100 onto Party Poker and was playing $1-$2 No-Limit Hold-Em. Which now i understand was really stupid.
I got up to $300 my first session but lost it fairly quick.

Than my 2nd attempt was on a Java Based site (i forget which one) and i did the same thing. Or would be playing $10 Sit N Go with $100 Deposit.

Both i practiced very shitty BR management and would play while drunk. I've quit drinking so the later won't be a problem but the BR management is what i need to improve.

I've done good at home games playing .25/.50 blinds No-Limit Hold-Em. But they are rarely happening anymore.
My experience playing at the casino i did pretty good at $1-3 (3-6) Limit but right now i can't afford playing live.

I would suggest the 18 player 1.50 +.25 turbo SnGs, they are easy to cash in on Pstars. If your a solid player move up to the 6.50 ones since they pay better. I think the .2/.5 micro limit NL games are beatable but there is a suprising number of good players milking these microstakes games to build a bankroll. I love Pstars but if you are starting with $50 why not sign up on Absolute or Wingows thru FTR? I can also say Crazy Poker has some beatable six max micro limit games. Good Luck and see ya at the tables!

A winning player with $150 can easily play $5 sit and gos.
At that level 30 buy-ins is plenty.

For 0.50/1.00 limit games, you probably want $300 as 300BB is advised. However at these stakes the play will be very beatable so I wouldn't really advise against $250.

I have no interest in discussing strategy with a protege'. Your job is to remain quiet and listen. I have a very systematic approach that I will share with the right candidate and I promise that I will turn you into a force of nature and show you elements of the game of poker that you never knew existed.

I started with 70 $ at Stars. The 1,50+0,25 2 table SNGs are really soft. Thats where I started. Then moved up to the 3,40s when my roll was around 120. Those are really soft too. If you are a decent player you will be rolled for the 6,50s in no time.

What you joining the Navy as

Please don't tell me as a Nuke, cause I'm a nuclear mechanic, and my life sucks, and will for the next 3 years (already done with 3 years....thank god)

The get you with the bonus's and advancement, but most days I question myself...was it really worth it?

Thank you's to the people who said start at the 1.50 18 players ones. Actually started with $45 cuz of the espassporte $5 fee. Im up to 85 in 3 days already , almost double. Most the competition at these levels is softer than 100k Play Chips on full tilt lol.
Another day or two and i should be playing the 3.40's hope they're just as soft.

daven will become famous soon enough
looks as though it's almost time for me to open a stars account.... Seems that the bonus will be hard to clear playing micro-cash (need $0.40 rake for a hand to count = $20pot right?), but looks ok with sng's so long as I am at least breaking even on them. There or Bodog best for micro-sng's and learning the art - opinions anyone?
