I try to run it, it says my trial days have run out.
gives me 2 options
register / continue
if i register it wants $20 , fair enough. but do we have to?
If I continue it takes me to register (loop) or exit ( closes program)
Is this normal , I thought in spoons video on MIRC he says we dont have to register it ?
I cant view the video, my broadband is a limper.

It asks me twice, then lets me continue. Never have any problems.

after like 120 days or something it got really frusterating not letting me hit continue twice. just keep opening it until it lets you get in, or try again later. I try to just close the channel and minimize IRC so i dont have to go over that process again

I just switched to icechat, works fine for me. It has a lot of the same options as mirc.

I love irssi, but it's linux only. If you have access to a linux box (certain web hosts, etc), you can run irssi and connect to it remotely from any computer. Can't be beat imo.

pidgin used to have some issues with irc, but they're fixed now.
I recommend you use that.

IceChat is a better option these days. mIRC used to let you use it forever, but that's recently changed.

I have no interest in discussing strategy with a protege'. Your job is to remain quiet and listen. I have a very systematic approach that I will share with the right candidate and I promise that I will turn you into a force of nature and show you elements of the game of poker that you never knew existed.
