BB and SB are the last to act preflop but both are the worst position postflop...with that said, is something like A10s, A9s, or even A8s good in those positions, or are they powerhouse (AA, KK, QQ, AKs) positions??

AA/KK are actually worth more from the SB/BB than from UTG.
Otherwise, you're pretty much in the worst position.

Raising from UTG is usually indicitive of a monster. People with worse hands get out of the way when an UTG player opens for a raise. When you get AA/KK in the blinds, chances are there is already a raise from a worse hand in front of you a lot of the time, or at least some limpers. Dead money.
