I was looking through the Pokerstars VIP store and noticed an item called MicroMania Instant Cash. For 375 fpp's, you can buy $6 cash. For July only.

Is this a good deal or a waste of fpp's?

Yeah that's bullshit but FTP ain't any better. Just noticed the rake for this month was about 65% of my winnings. But I've grinded out SilverStar @ 5NL and received $26 in bonuses so that brings it down to about 20% so it's kind of a wash.

So still .01 of .20 but more pots being raked?

It also says micros rake capped at $2, I think it used to be $3 so maybe a wash, provided we're getting enough chips in the pot.

Ah yes, it used to be every $1, now it's 20 cents. So it's the same rake (sort of) but more pots are being raked instead of the $1 and up pots. Those motherfuckers.

Yes but it's still better than Full Tilt.

@OP that bonus is as good as a deal as you can get for your FPPs without going SN.

And yes it's this. 2nl/5nl rake went from almost non-existent to about 4 ptbb/100.

So pre UIGEA, win rate = 20ptbb/100
Post UIEGA, win rate = 10ptbb/100
New Stars Rake = 5ptbb/100

Oh, fantastic then.

No. Most of them are worse. Go check their rake schedules.

I think you're missing the point though. Its not 0.01 of .20 until the pot is greater than 1$ in the past.... therefore the old rate has gone from 0 for the first .99 to .01 per .20 in the pot. And it doesn't just stop at the 1$ level.
They only used to rake 5c for each $ in the pot so $4.99 got raked as a 4$ pot so that they are making more across the whole range of micro limit pots

PTW thanks for the tip I took advantage of it.

375 pts for 6$ is waste of points for me.You can make 6$ in 60 mins on 0.01-0.02.Just think how long you have to play 0.01-0.02 for 375 fpp

if this is a waste of points for you .....how are you going to convert them into cash at a better guaranteed rate?Keep on saving them til you get 2500 and convert into 25$ at a worse conversion rate? 2nlers ,this is your "rakeback" take advantage of it while you can to boost your bankroll.

Jeeez , I play 25nl and i still took advantage.
