I was just wondering about some tactics or strategies for getting more money out of guys when you have a great hand and they have nothing.

For example you are on sitting on AA in the small blind and everyone has folded to you.

This happened last game I played and we both just checked to the river. I was hoping he'd hit something and start betting. I raised $10 on the river and he called with Q high. He said that he figured I was just trying to steal the pot and considered re-raising me but didn't.

Any other ideas besides just feigning weakness.

It depends on the player in the BB. If they're very aggressive, you should just call preflop, and check on the flop, and decide what to do from there (depending on if there's draws out there, and how they react). If they're a calling station, I'd raise and keep betting.

Raise if the player is loose. They'll never expect AA and go all-in with all kinds of crap.
