Ok recently ive stepped up to the .5/1 blinds at bet365. Ive been making a nice sum from these tables yet im still faced with the same old problem.
While i know at this level not a lot of players are going to be doing anything other than playin their cards (good for me) im still faced witrh the large amount of lunatics who will raise with anthing apart from aa which the play stone cold.
How do i deal with these suicidal idiots ?
I guess there is potentialy plenty of profit in them its just that i get a marginal hand say KJ in position and i know ive probably got them beat but i know its gona cost me a tidy sum if i dont hit.
Any advice. So far ive managed to burn a few with the monster slow play but other than that am i just gona have to wait till i guess ive got them beat?

Make great hands, win big pots.

Are they aggro calling stations or are they just aggro? (will they call frequenly if you try and raise them)

If they can fold to other aggressors, you've got a fun time picking spots and boards to fight over against them.

You mean the revolver, sir?
Precisely.

most of em just wont fold unless theres a made straight or flush. I cud hit an obvious set and keep re raising their reraises when theyve got top pair and they just wont quit. While i make a shedload in these situations its if i have second pair after a preflop raise ( probably when they have suited connectors) and while i suspect they are beat or chasing( they raise if they hit anything even a draw never mind top pair etc) i cant get them out of the pot and then they hit on the river and i lose.

Say i call heads up with AQ and get raised by a maniac then im gona call. Flop is rainbow with a K and Q I get raised massive suspecting something like 9/10 or j10 While i might be able to bet some out with a pot bet these guys just dont go away. And even if i just check or bet a little im getting raised until the river when they try to bluff. The problem is that if ive got top pair and they hit miracle cards ive bet a lot knowing im a big favourite yet they hit enough miracle cards to make me need to go running for the afternon to get rid of tilt

If you are confident of your reads, you can make a lot of money from these guys. You just need to maintain your discipline. Yes, they will river you once every 4 or 5 times and take your stack but far more often, you will be taking their stack when their flush doesn't hit or their bottom pair doesn't improve. The only thing you have to beware is that there will be a LOT of variance - wild swings in fact. If you can handle that, then go for it and the $$$ will roll in. If getting rivered for the third time on the run puts you into tilt, then you need another strategy.

with marginal hands, what i recommend, is play it like one. your goal isn't to get all in asap like it is with premium hands, its just to bet enough to kill their drawing odds, not pay off if they hit their draw, and hopefully pick up a nice medium sized pot.
i betcha that i got something you ain't got, that's called courage, it don't come from no liquor bottle, it ain't scotch
