I like to semi-bluff draws so that when I get called, but I still get my draw, my opponents are already pretty commited and I can OVERBET the pot to make them think I'm bluffing or to occassionaly take down a huge hand.

If he's a good player ur up against you should act like your bluffing and overbet. If he's an aggressive or stupid player, check as fats as u can so it seems like u have absoulote shit.

If you bet yor draws it's harder for your opponents to know you're on a draw as oppossed to when you simply check and call. Subsequent betting once you hit your draw is more likely to get paid off then, at least in my experience. Your semi-bluffs may also take down the pot right there negating the need for you to actually hit your draw.

Not true. I went all in against my friend... I had top pair and he called with 9 high. He thought I was bluffing. Although he couldn't really beat a bluff either.

The worse the player, the greater the chance that they'll call without having pot odds... or any cards, for that matter.

the way to make sure people are gpoing to pay you off if you hit your draws is by semi bluffin, try to do it a lot if you can spare the chips that is, sometimes youll even take the pot uncontested.
