So I've been home all day because I have an eye infection. My vision is kinda screwed up but I've been playing anyway. I was distracted for a minute while I was putting in some eye drops and I misclicked on the "bet pot" button when I meant to check. See hilarious results below:
Ultimate Bet No-Limit Hold'em, $.10 BB (8 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: FlopTurnRiver)
UTG ($4.80)
UTG+1 ($7.26)
MP1 ($6.50)
MP2 ($1.97)
CO ($16.99)
Button ($15.33)
SB ($5.45)
Hero ($10)
Preflop: Hero is BB with 7 , J .
UTG calls $0.10, 1 fold, MP1 calls $0.10, MP2 calls $0.10, 3 folds, Hero raises to $0.55, UTG folds, MP1 folds, MP2 calls $0.45.
Flop: ($1.35) T , 3 , 5 (2 players)
Hero checks, MP2 checks.
Turn: ($1.35) 8 (2 players)
Hero checks, MP2 checks.
River: ($1.35) 9 (2 players)
Hero bets $1.35, MP2 calls $1.35.
Final Pot: $4.05
Results in white below:
Hero has 7s Jc (straight, jack high).
MP2 has 9c 8s (two pair, nines and eights).
Outcome: Hero wins $4.05.
I thought about telling him but I didn't.

believe me I know I lucked out. I was so shocked to have hit the wrong button that I couldn't pull myself together in time to attempt a save. In fact, I'm sure I would've taken it with a 1/2 pot bet on the flop. But then I wouldve missed out on the extra $1.35. Even if i bet the turn after he makes mid pair he probably folds. By totally brainlocking and then letting him make a halfway decent hand I actually made money. I found it funny because it was nice to get paid for a mistake for a change. Usually I'm paying some donk who makes a miracle draw. Another funny thing was that the whole table started playing back at me more. I had been folding about 80-85% PF which I continued to do. However, all of a sudden, instead of the usual one or none callers of my 4-5BB raises PF I started getting more calls. Turned a BE session into a profit of half a buyin. unfortunately, I could only play for another hour. I find it strange that they would completely ignore 2 hours and 130 hands of tight play and key in on one stupidly played hand. Of course, that could be coincidence. Also a good illustration of why you should never play distracted.
