I usually go to the casino and play 3/6 or 4/8. I play tight and in about 2 hrs or so maybe less i build a nice stack. I feel i am playing solid then i start my downturn and i lose my stack. It's so irrating cause my buddies are forever telling me how much they cleaned up. Does this happen to others and if it does how did you turn yourself around.
When I play online i just quit when i get the gut feeling that its headed south. I don't get this feeling at the B/M. any opions?
thx

i am the type of horrible monster that everybody hates, but after doing the same thing a bunch of times i decided that when i hit 3-4x the buyin for the table, if there are no good action guys left to milk, id either switch tables or go home

its easy to make a bunch of great plays to build up a stack, and then blow it all on one mistake/suckout/lost race

but then im also pretty much a noob (50c/$1 B&M), and i cant play a big stack to save myself

but yeah, its your money, and if youre one of the bigger stacks at the table, everyone is gunning for you. maybe just gear down a bit more once you get a bit ahead, dont get involved as often? plus that way if you decide to leave it doesnt look as bad if you sat there for a couple of orbits folding hands than if you just up and left straight after taking a big pot off someone ;0
