Loose games seem like a good way to get some chips.
The question is, though: What about the pre-flop action that often goes on? How much do you go in for pre? When 2-4 X BB raises are a norm and the people are getting loose and frisky..
My plan is CALL up to 4xBB with decent cards (high / low PPs, high SCs), and I lower the quality a little bit (lower SCs, etc) if it's a choo choo pot (5+ callers).
I know it's better to be leading the betting, but if people are doing it for you, do you just go with the flow - or do you step ABOVE them a bit?
Just curious.
I find my stack getting nibbled sometimes by the higher price to see the flop, especially if the flop doesn't bring anything helpful. I hate to bluff a missed flop in these games, because you will get called and will probably go to showdown, so you need at least something...
Do you keep the same flop % in a loose game or do you like to at least see the flop more often than a tight game? Any comments, etc. would be useful.

I think this is an excellent topic -
by the time I figure out if these tables are either fishy or maybe a crew setting people up, im usually down 25% of what I brought to the table - I usually get away from these tables as quickly as possible - for example, when this happens on a 5/10 limit table I just accept that Im "actually" playing a 10/20 table, and if I had wanted to play a 10/20 table I would have joined that to begin with. Real loose tables just aren't my style..

Id definitely play in a loose game. If there is too much PF raising it might be a skilled and aggressive game but if you can tell theyre fishy then get in on that action. Limp in with big flop hitters like SCs and PPs and get those fools all in preflop if you can catch AA, KK, or 74o

Thoes games are why I'm in the black.
.10/.25 table doing that and you often get 2 callers when you go all in with your AA or KK ... after all they already put in $0.75, they might as well call another $25 with that KJo.
With thoes tables I basically wait for pocket pairs, Axs, and AK, AQ, AJ, KQ, QJ and only play them.
Hit your set and go all in and be called by the someone with a flush draw and double up 65%+ of the time... Hit that flush on the flop and punch it to get paid off by that J3s, K7x, and whoever else thinks they can get or already have a flush.
Your real money at these tables are thoes two hands.
The funny thing is that the same people calling your all in with J4s would only make small bets if you didnt bet because they dont want to scare everyone off the hand.
