Swig is dealt: :Ad: :Qh:
PRE-FLOP
dushii calls $0.25, 3 folds, --Ram-- calls $0.25, lablarry bets $1, swiggidy calls $1, 2 folds, dushii calls $0.75, 1 fold.
FLOP [board cards 6D,5S,5C ] (~$3)

TURN [board cards , , ,:Ah: ] ($4.15)
dushii checks, lablarry bets $5, swiggidy folds, ...
I'm looking for ABC poker. I believe calling pre-flop is standard. Do you ever raise the flop? In a $5-$10 SnG I push over this turn bet, is that still the right play here or did I make a good fold?
{EDIT: Sry, this site's HH suck}

Call and hope he has AJ (for real, that's what I'd do).

Want a straight ABC answer? TPGK doesn't call overbets on a paired board.

I don't think this guy has a 5. A6 is possible I guess? Maybe I'm being naive but this just doesn't look like $25 play to me if he does have a 5.

So, I should re-raise pre-flop for isolation?
FWIW, I stacked him a couple hands later. I flopped top set with TT, he pushed $15 (JJ) over a min-bet from the SB with a $5 pot. I think there is a good chance I was a head, but I didn't want to risk my stack to find out.

Fold pf.
If you're going to play this you have to re-raise pre-flop. Which is a lot to invest in AQo without a read.
You have position which probably means you could have picked this up on the turn after those weak min-bets.
I suppose the question is what turn were you hoping for if you'll fold to aggression here?

I am last to act on the turn, the strong bet comes before me.
I wasn't really "hoping" for a specific turn card (or range). If they checked or min-bet again I would have put out a healthy bet almost regardless of the turn.
If it had been a $3-4 dollar bet I call (I have a feeling I will get stoned for saying this). If it had been closer to a 1/2 pot I probably raise.
I'm starting to like this folding/re-raising pre-flop idea a lot more.

meh.
I meant flop.
All this time on turnflopriver.com and I make that sort of mistake...
But if you can't play AQ as TPGK you shouldn't play AQo.

if you cant/darent reraise preflop with your broadway hands then muck and wait for the next hand.
