Is this standard or do i just fail at Pokerstove?
Ok so Villian is a classic nit. When he limps, flats and min Reraises the low flop. Alarm bells are going off in my head SET SET SET SET!!!!! But then I think nits are very capable of limping and flat calling JJ-AA in UTG +1 (well at 5nl at least) to be a trappy chappy. So I'm ready to fold then I'm like.. huh I'll quickly stove this before my time bank runs out. So i chuck in
AA vs TT+,66,22
2d6hTh
And I get 63.5% Equity
So then i shove and he insta calls..
$0.02/$0.05 No Limit Holdem
8 Players
Stacks:
UTG imokru999 ($9.95)
UTG+1 rus_fish_ka ($5)
MP1 Hero ($5.45)
MP2 ChipBatya ($5.18)
CO tlax38 ($6.14)
BTN arker69 ($5.48)
SB Theo Impalla ($6.37)
BB BAFA123 ($11.71)
Pre-Flop: ($0.07, 8 players) Hero is MP1
imokru999 calls $0.05, rus_fish_ka calls $0.05, Hero raises to $0.30, 5 folds, imokru999 folds, rus_fish_ka calls $0.25
Flop: ($0.72, 2 players)
rus_fish_ka checks, Hero bets $0.55, rus_fish_ka raises to $1.10, Hero goes all-in $5.15, rus_fish_ka goes all-in $3.60
Turn: ($10.57, 2 players, 2 all-in)
River: ($10.57, 2 players, 2 all-in)
Final Pot: $10.57
rus_fish_ka shows three of a kind, Tens

Hero shows a pair of Aces

rus_fish_ka wins $9.62 (net +$4.62)
Hero collects $0.45 (net -$5)
imokru999 lost $0.05
Is this standard? or am i missing something? Am I being to hopeful that he is limping AA-JJ?
Harsh Crit greatly appreciated
Thanks Guys

Stoving while playing is generally bad form.. and some sites will ban you for it.
That being said.. this is a common shitbox spot. Don't be too results oriented.. if you think he would do the same with 99+ and that's your read.. you didn't really make a mistake. He could be doing the same with a heart draw..

Stop second guessing yourself and learn to trust your reads. When you feel like you're behind, you usually are. You're going to fold the best hand sometimes, but that's poker. Spewing chips when you know you're beat will have a one-way ticket to tilt-town waiting for you.

Do you think this nit will raise any big pocket pairs preflop? If yes, remove them from the flop range, if the answer is sometimes, you can remove some combinations of those hands.
I don't think your classic nit is going to checkraise JJ-QQ, they're not really nutty enough for a nit, they're more likely to call.
Minor note, i'd put in AcAs rather than AA because that's going to include the Ah and give you more equity that you don't have.
PS.I'm a nit
