This is a story about how my girlfriend won our NLHE tourney last night.

I'm posting in the Strategies section because I think she played brilliantly.

There were 8 people and we all drew cards for seating and I happened to get the seat next to her. I really payed attention to how she was playing hoping to give her some pointers if she made the wrong plays. Turns out she didn't need any help from me, she was the chip leader most of the night.

She's only played 6 times over the last 6 months and amazingly she's won 4 out of six games!

Some of the things I've noticed about her strategy:

1. Very protective of her chips. She never got married to any pot. Her raises were usually minimum raises. She didn't call many large raises either. If she did, she was holding something big. So all in all she didn't win many huge pots but she didn't lose any either. (Except one I sucked her in with trip 2's ) Instead she just slowly built her stack by winning small pots.

2. Didn't bluff at all until the table was down to 3 people.

3. Very disciplined with the cards she played. Didn't even bother limping in with junk unless she was the BB.

4. Not afraid to raise with second pair.

5. Didn't let herself get bullied. Late in the game there was one guy who kept trying to check raise bluff her out of the pot. She figured it out and reraised the guy. He'd fold.

At the end of the night my buddies couldn't believe that they lost to a girl! The last hand the guy tried to steal the blinds by going all in while short stacked. My girl called him right away. They turn over and he's holding A7o and my girl has K9s.

She catches a 9 and wins it all.

I must say it was quite a turn on watching my girl dominate that game. Those guys just couldn't believe it. They are all claiming she got lucky but her 4 out of 6 wins is starting to say something.

When we got home I couldn't wait to get her naked. She was pretty turned on too. I love poker! Hence the title of my post.

Thinking to myself. Oh, Shady liked it when his wife won. That's cool. I feel good when my wife wins also. Yes, that Shady, he's really good to his wife. She's a lucky... wait... he was serious when he said he was sexually aroused by that.

He's taking us into his bedroom with his story?

And he let us leave his bedroom, right after it was awkward, but before it was gross.

Ahh c'mon guys I was just trying to have some fun with y'all. I guess I wanted to have the first pokerporn post.

Maybe if I posted her pic you guys might want to hear some more.

I couldn't do that but she looks strikingly familiar to Koolmoe's Avatar.

Oh c'mon guys.. I was mentally undressing Shady's girl way before I got to that bit at the end. By item 3 on Shady's description of her playing style, I was head over heels for her.



Seriously though Shady, this girl sounds like one to hold on to.
