I've been trying to read up what I can find and scour the forums to learn, but there are some things I still have questions about. I know they're dumb, so bear with me. What does "donkey" mean? And why does tilt have a bad connotation? Thanks for the help for the new player.

Surprisingly (because About is usually garbage), I found this resource useful:
Poker Glossary.
Donkey/Donk = Bad player, n00b, fish.
Tilt = emotionally off balance. When you are emotionally off balance you make irrational choices, lose your discipline, and lose money.
I'm still puzzled as to why FullTiltPoker uses that name, but I guess they just think it sounds edgy and cool or some such.

Thanks for the links, guys and theblueknave, thanks for explaining a few of the terms. I probably fall into the donk category, since I'm new. Hopefully, after reading these I'll be a bit better.
