I know that this topic has been discussed to death so sorry!
Just wondering on your guys experience with different limits. I play at pokerstars and began on limt HE 0.01/0.02. These games were pretty crazy, pretty much just play money so I moved to 0.05/0.10 with the same result. I have recently moved to 0.25/0.50 and have been much more successful. I only have a bankroll of $50, do you think i should stick at this level, move back down or perhaps move to 0.50/1.00???

$50 bankroll and you want to play .5/1?
WTF.
Stick to the penny games and nickel/dime games.

LOL. I suppose he just wants to go bust all in one moment. Well it being limit, it wont happen quite so fast, but playing with a bankroll of 50 big bets will do it fast enough.

You're already playing too high for your bankroll. The generally accepted rule of thumb is a minimum 300 big bets to play a given limit, although I prefer 500. If I were you I'd move down to .05/.10 and go from there. If you haven't seen a 200BB downswing yet, you're in for a shocker.

My bankroll is twice yours and I play $.01/$.02. I think you are crazy. Of course, I am in this for the long haul. Are you?

You're playing NL he's playing limit, but still... you have a good point

I play 0.05/0.10 and seem to be at least breaking even and learning. If I can do it pretty consistently the games can't be that crazy. Learn to play the low stakes before you move up. As the stakes go up the play is only gonna get better, not worse.

Agreed. Limit has way less variance. I can't speak to that.
