due to my poor progress in NL holdem, too many horrible hands that made me lose too much at once, so i decide to give limit a try. The result. Awesome. There are suckouts still but it doesnt cost me as much, so im still winning the same number of hands in NL Holdem, just not losing as much when i get screwed. If NL is stressing you out like it did me, give limit a try, worked for me. I think making $100 a night for a week is some good evidence to give it a shot.

Limit actually has more variance than NL. (If you compare levels by bankroll management). How many hands have you played and at what limit? It's great to run good, but make sure to be mentally prepared for the swings.

Oh, yeah. Sandstorm is oh so right. I played limit for a long time before seeing the light and going to NL. If you play within your bankroll, either game is fine, just that limit sucks.

Thanks, mate, but you've missed a bit. I've corrected your omissions, below, however.

Being that I have seen both sides-first NL/PL then Limit then a brieft couple nights at NL I will say both have some serious variance but it does seem that Limit does have slightly higher.Of course this depends on how often you are winning your share of large pots in NL as well as avoiding situations where you get destacked.
