Post subject: Latest Hollywood Poker upgrade

Hollywood Poker upgraded their client again today. Now it seems that PR Fetch cannot retrieve more than one hand history from an open table. That sucks.
Has anyone else experienced this problem? I use PRFetch to get hands into PT and use GameTime+ for my HUD. This 25NL FR.

just swtiched to party, but i guess you know that you can use PT with pokerroom. if they took away the ability to get past hands, well that sucks. try the PRFetch forum etc.

why do you need pr fetch? i can import hands to PT from the skins no prob.

I use pr fetch to retrieve to previous hands played at the table. I was not aware that PT could retrieve previous hands but only hands as they were played.

click enable statistics in proom software options
then in ptracker, import pokerroom stats -> configure database file -> autodetect.

Or you can do what I do which is import directly from their DB files. PT needs an SQL Driver for it (I forget which but the PT doc guides you through it.)

No no, thats not what he or I are using it for. It will retrieve every hand played on that table before you got there, it is a datamining utility.

Yup Yup. By the way, HP says they had server problems for the past 2 days and that I should be able to continue retrieving "previously" played hands.

the whole network is a mess. i just got timed out on half my tables and it wouldnt let me back in.. i dont get tilted by bad play, just poor internet connections.

Looks like Pokerroom has declared war on PRfetch. Chats at Pokertracker says they (PR) are looking to hunt down users. Looks like it might be time to switch poker sites.

OK ... are there any sites that allow "data mining" of previously played hands? If so, what software is used to retrieve those hands?
Using PT helps with players I have faced before but does nothing for determining the playing styles of new players. Obviously I could sit and watch them but that is certainly more difficult when multi tabling.

I datamine prima all the time just with PT. I'm at work right now and I have 11 tables open and being read. I can't go back and get games from earlier but I can get them all day while here, and all night while I sleep, which is great for the weekends when I usually play pretty late against people I don't see all week cause I have a day job.
