Villain is 44/19 over 16 hands, has been somewhat aggresive so far, no real reads.
On flop i check as most people c bet too much and he has been aggresive. I elect to call as i wont get any calls from worse with a raise.
I now hate my turn bet because I fold out any 88-JJ hands i'm beating as well as potentially some queens. Our villain also has alot of aces in his range. This bet also folds out any bluffs.
On river i go for a blocking bet to get a last bit of value from any weaker holdings including qj and qt type hands.
All in all i feel i played this hand quite terribly. Is the correct line here c/c c/c and then like c/f or whats the plan? As played i also hate my river bet because i dont think i stop myself from getting bluffed out of the pot very much so i should probaly just be c/f'ing, but in what circumstances would you guys go for a bet like this?
And no i wasnt drunk or anything.

curious why you lead turn?

"Whether he likes it or not, a man's character is stripped bare at the poker table; if the other players read him better than he does, he has only himself to blame. Unless he is both able and prepared to see himself as others do, flaws and all, he will be a loser in cards, as in life."

I think the block bet on the river really doesn't accomplish much - but I never really use them so interested to see what others think.
I can't figure out the reason why we lead the turn.

check call the turn.
1.He has an ace in his range alot and you are behind.
2.Sometimes aggresive players double barrel an ace with air.
3.You have a decent hand with many outs some to the nuts, that when you bet forces weaker hands out.
When you hit your outs bet the river. b/f a K b/r a club
do be b/c a queen?

I think I'd be in c/c mode the whole hand (obv. not if the board helps us more)
