I have only seen 12 hands against villain, of which he is 0 and 0. He opens in UTG+1 and i call from the BB. Based on the limited info and opening from UTG+1 im putting him on a tight range JJ+, AJ+. I wanted to 3bet him here but restrained. Horrible flop. I lead out so he doesnt see a fourth for free. Horrible turn. I should have b/f the turn?

Maybe you would have avoided this OOP scenario had you 3bet preflop.

I dont think so. The majority of the range we put him on is calling the three bet, if not shoving over the top. Unless we shove, which is bad imo. No?

StarGrinder is infamous around these parts
On the button is where you can think about flatting this (depending on who the blinds are) but in the BB where you're OOP and giving up initiative, you absolutely have to 3bet preflop.

3bet pre. b/f turn is pretty pointless unless you are planning to turn your KK into a bluff and tripling any non-club river. Seems fine as played.

Don't we want the Majority of his range to call our 3 bet ?

I've run our range estimate through pokerstove.

To be honest, this isn't even a board I would dream of tripling. Also, what celtic said. Bloat the pot with your strong hands. Pretty much the only two reasons I'd ever flat KK preflop is if I could expect some LAGGy dude to squeeze so I could get it in or if the guy raising was like 1/1 over 600 hands.

IMO definitely should have 3bet preflop hard. then led out with a strong continuation bet on the flop as bad it looked it probably scared him too.
Current Goal: Breaking 50NL
Wish me luck!!!
