Normally I do not raise KJs in blinds, but I was trying to isolate this donk who was playing 79/32 with a 25% 3 bet, granted this is only over 34 hands, but I have seen him open shove and just do generally crazy stuff.

I am ahead of his 3 bet range and once I hit top pair, I think I can safely call this...

What do you think.

His range is something like Any ace, any broadway.

Also at this time I had my suspicions that he would play his big hands slower, so things like sets and even over pairs are less likely. I know equity analysis says this is a snap call, but is there something else I should think about here?

it's tough for me to put him on a tighter range than this:
Text results appended to pokerstove.txt

122,760 games 0.002 secs 61,380,000 games/sec

Board: Jd Tc 6d
Dead:

equity win tie pots won pots tied
Hand 0: 44.489% 41.76% 02.73% 51269 3346.00 { TT+, 66, A6s+, KJs+, QJs, 98s, ATo+, A6o, KJo+, QJo }
Hand 1: 55.511% 52.79% 02.73% 64799 3346.00 { KhJh }

all of those bluffs are overs + draws, and i didn't even take out any of his value range (though i'd be surprised if he da 666).

i'm fine with preflop, too because he gave us such laughable odds, but i'd play super fit or fold...like wouldn't even be super happy with flopping a K. oh and our best play after the hand is to stand up and rejoin the waiting list and hope to get a seat that isn't directly to his right

I have no interest in discussing strategy with a protege'. Your job is to remain quiet and listen. I have a very systematic approach that I will share with the right candidate and I promise that I will turn you into a force of nature and show you elements of the game of poker that you never knew existed.

yeah, A9o was def in the first range i put into stove, and the results were like 70% equity or some shit. when i stove, i try to see how tight of a range it has to be for me to fold (or call) to see if it's plausible, and i gave up once it got this tight because he's never not shoving any of the hands i included.

im not one for 5x with KJ, calling a three bet with KJ OOP, and shipping one pair on wet board that even if you are in front of can be outdrawn...

but your reads on the player justify it. im never fist pump calling or snapping my mouse though..
