** Dealing Flop ** [ 6d, 7s, Ah ]
potdragn checks.
Arnecke bets [$0.75].
poacher folds.
8Blacky8 calls [$0.75].
eskimo28 folds.
potdragn calls [$0.75].
** Dealing Turn ** [ 10c ]

Arnecke checks.
8Blacky8 checks.
** Dealing River ** [ 2s ]
potdragn bets [$3.5].
Arnecke raises [$10].
8Blacky8 folds.
potdragn raises [$33.11].
Arnecke calls [$26.61].
** Summary **

PS Sorry I didnt doll it up, i dont often post real hand histories : p where are the forum codes to make my hands have all the pretty cards?

I'd almost put him on A2 rather than a set, he was pretty passive thorughout the hand. I usually use bets like this. I'd like to know if this should be a push too actually. Think I'm losing some value against pretty good hands at the river too.

When a guy makes that play on the river, I invariably push the nuts.

He likes his hand a lot. He's putting in a big raise, and opening up for you to reraise.

I expect a call nearly every time he's not on a bluff.

I'd raise it to 3x his raise but not much more; a push would likely induce a good laydown and cost you some bets.

Herein lies the problem...without some specific ideas as to the player I'm not making this push. I value raise as you did. We have to believe that he is capable of calling the bet we make.

Seems to me you made a good bet at the end. You get 33 paid off on the river in a limped pot with the nuts...This doesnt happen very often.

Superb play sir...I always call 20% of my stack off with a gutshot draw. Excuse me while I race for my wallet.

If you bet the turn the pot's big enough to push the river.
