lol volume but good runnings @ 25NL

on a side note, my days played = hands played for some odd reason. It started doing that when I was messing around with the comp's date & time settings. Anyone know how to fix this?

Moved up to 10NL at around ~8,500 hands.
Good month all around, hit silverstar like all the other microbonks itt. Volume could have / should have been better but I feel the time spent on studying and such was well worth it.
BR is over $400, need ~35 BIs to get to 25 enels.

WTF blue line?? All at 25NL
I played quite a bit in the beginning of the month but I have other things going on in my life right now and wasn't able to play as much as I wanted in the end of the month.
I played 44 hours, not sure how this compares to everyone else.

Newb question to kfaess...
Your non-showdown winnings being so negative; my implication would be that you play too aggressively, or call too much, then you end up folding; should you maybe note in your hand planning process the fold option/bet fold less, more often to keep out of the situations where you are dumping money in?
I am not trying to critique your play. I am just trying to get an idea of how I may want to interpret this line to help gain information on my/someone else's game...

For a discussion of the infamous red line see last month's graphs thread. Or, if you want to go more in depth into the topic go here. Thanks for your ideas. I'm not trying to be a total douche but I really don't want to start that discussion again though, so lets just forget this topic was even mentioned.
Just to reiterate: LETS NOT TALK ABOUT RED LINES ITT

Right around 10,000 hands, little light bulbs started going off in my head. I might actually be figuring this game out. Epiphanies are awesome, a little heater doesn't hurt either.

#1 epiphany was M2M advising a 20/10 to squeeze together their vpip/pfr. I was running 20/12 at the time. The best way I could see doing that was folding alot more in ep and raising alot more in lp.
JKDS and Daven both posted alot of things that fit in perfectly with my change in play, their last combo post went with this well, so did the link to Muzzards 3bet bluff thread. This helped close my vpip/pfr even more as I'm 3betting instead of calling more often. I'm running 13/9 now.

Again, there's a bit of a heater in there, and this isn't a big sample, but I feel like I'm understanding the decisions that I make alot more now.

UGH!

frustrated at this point, but Need more volume and number 1 priority right now is working towards becoming 13/11 or 12/10 type.
5NL seems like such a nit fest these days, it's tough to get on a decent table

Start your own tables. You'll be surprised how many fish join and how quickly. Usually the first to join wants to shove almost every hand. Started doing this after watching a M2M vid from GS

+$20something RB.
ITT: A demonstration of dropping a mere few buyins below EV and letting it tilt you from playing very well to playing like a fucking dbag. Can anybody spot where it happened?
I gave up for the last ten days or so, hence poor volume, the only silver lining being the session I played on the last day of the month where I felt I actually played really nicely even if it was just for +1 buyin.
Will I never learn?
August goals:
[ ] Drag my sorry arse up to 25nl.
[ ] ABSOLUTELY NO playing when tired or tilted. It's crippling my development.

1/ Find a table with no players at it.
2/ Sit down.
It's that easy!

Starting tables is so +EV, I rarely join wait lists unless I know some huge fish sitting.
Nice graphs Supa and DC(-rush week obv).

Pretty sure he 24 tables 50nl or thereabouts.
Made monies in July. No big deal though.
Umm... starting tables is awsum, nothing wrong with joining any table in the lobby even the super nitty ones thoug. I actually think it'd be pretty +EV for newer players to just sit at any table and work on adjusting to the table conditions. Find out which ones you are most comfortable with and then actively table select for that type of table instead of having the 'oh I HAVE to have a table full of loose/passive's in order to win.' mentality.
When I say newer players, I mean the guys that have been around for a little while and understand most, if not all the basic concepts but are still at 5nl/10nl. ANYONE can win at a table full of 45/3's. How many of you can win at a table full of nits? With a maniac to your left? Right? Fish in the blinds to your left? TAGs to your right? Left?
Figure out what you're most comfortable with. Finding a table full of retards is going to get harder and harder as you move up, so learn to adjust to a table instead of looking for the same situation over and over.
Gl in august.
