Looks like i'm starting the thread this month.

Fellow beginners, be sure to join in on the graph-a-thon. even if you're EV is like -$300, it's a good way to face the truth that you have leaks and make resolutions for the next month. i had two months of losing money in cash before i ever put in a winning graph. (just export the image, then go to imageshack.com).

talk about a weird month. i had one session where i went -6BI's and then won it all back in like 2 hours (i was two tabling against this guy who backed 20% of his hands with his stack and lost AKo vs T5s, 99 vs ATo, AJo vs 33 and 77 vs 99 before i finally got to him. my last session i f'ing shot up 4.5 BI's and then lost 3.5 of them and then won 4BI's to have a 5BI session.

didn't get in nearly as many hands 'cause i was distracted by donkaments ($75 net winnings). because of the new no-deposit bonus program FTP's running this month i'll prolly be rolled for 25NL by the end of the month, but i think i'm gonna stick with 10NL until i could put in a solid month of >5ptBB/100.

look forward to see how much everyone else is ballin.

Here's the 10NL garph for July. I had a pretty nice heater at the start of the month, then I went into weak/tight "protecting my winnings" mode for the long breakeven stretch. When I finally realized how bad I was playing I ran into negative variance but I think I played well through it and kept even. I'm pretty happy with my take on poker atm. I know I have huge amounts of leaks and obviously tons of areas to work on; I'm going to fix them and I'm going to get better. Being average is not acceptable.

+141$ 10NL
+36$ rakeback
+10$ bonus
+23$ 5PLO
+186$ tournaments

Total: 396$

Made the $90 I wanted at $5NL in the first week. Hit $10NL, first sesion well crazy well, as did the second and thats where it ended. Made 1 BI over 50K hands. Fracking yay!

Made silver star, managed to turn 5000FPP to $100 and August is here. Serenity now, Serenity now, Serenity now.

Ahhh...July is finally over. I've never been happier to see a new month. Here's how it ended up:

I has a pretty bad downswing to start the month out. Made some changes at about hand 16,332 and saved the month.

And take away $100 from that due to that prop bet with M2M and I'm only up about $41 for the month. Well, at least I completed a comeback...so I'll take a breakeven month.

I have a good feeling about August. I got two new books and I plan on getting a few sweat sessions going with players better than me. Hopefully that'll help me identify more leaks that I may have.

I probably won't be getting Gold Star this month being that I will be at Full Tilt clearing that "Big Bonus," thing. Also, I will be going to Tampa again for a week. If all goes well and I reach 50NL, I plan on going to UltimateBet to clear their sign-up bonus. I may not play on PokerStars at all this month (unless they entice me with a bonus)!

Goals for August
Move up to 50NL
Clear FTP Bonus
Don't lose prop bets to M2M
Put in more hands than in July

Don't forget to make goals for yourself guys!

That's how winners play; we convince the other guy he's making all the right moves.

what my july graph, and what all my graphs should and will finally look like.

difference? i've finally fixed my ps tilt/spew/whatever where i just decide to give money to people. After my br recovers to 900 ill go back to 25nl and then hopefully breeze into 50nl.

After cashing out again (#@$@#^@$) My BR was at $30 to start July. I decided to 25-table $1.20 one table sngs, 12-table $1.10 45 person turbos, and the occasional deeper stacked 90 person non-turbo sng. I did mix in some cash and misc crap as well which isn't reflected in the graph. I also made the SNG battle of the planets leaderboard 3 out of 4 weeks and got some bonus cash there. (best finish was 15 last week)

Total won for the month- $351

Tilted at 10NL after losing 20 BIs and cashed out all but $150 during June. BR dropped to $61 before rebounding.

End of July was either heater or cooler
Ended with heater

I think I play the least hand/tournies out of anyone on FTR.

Anyways, I continue to lose at 10nl. Mixture of cold cards and bad play, hopefully I've fixed some of my leaks, I'll see in the next month.

On the other hand I continue to dominate at tournaments, winning the ftr300 gave me a nice spike at the end. I downloaded SNGwiz and have been practicing working with ICM, which has helped quite a bit. Still getting used to the program though.

Huge month for me, almost doubled my br!

Cash: +$151 @ 10NL over 9.8k hands, +7.7ptbb/100
Cash game had a spewtastic start (-4 BI first 2 days) and a REALLY disappointing spewtastic finish (-3BI on last day) with alot of solid play in between.

Tourney: +$466 over 95 tourneys mostly driven by big $410 cash in $2 MTT

Here is the cash graph:

Frustrating month overall but I did finish up a little. I've really got to get off my ass and study.
