SB is a nit with stats of 9/7/3.3 over 400 hands, CO is just a shortstack donk. I just called CO because I figured he would bet most flops and I could get it all in on most flops being ahead, and also thought he might fold to a 3bet. I have seen SB get tricky in the blinds, but just mainly raising my steals a couple times. I dont remember him squeezing before. Also, I thought SB might be raising a bit lighter to isolate the CO and put him all in. Do I need better reads that he squeezes as a bluff to make moves like this? Should I have just 3bet the shorty? Just call SB 3bet?

squeeze defense gone supar wrong amirite?
He had AA, KK QQ or AK and quite possibly AQs here

The older I get, the more I start wondering; Just what in the hell is going on here?

So are you saying that's what his range is? If so its an easy fold right? I was thinking a bit wider like TT+,AK,AQ. Plus with the chance of him having air does that make the move any better, or is that a slim chance?

Your range may be more correct than mine. I'm not very good at ranges.
That having been said. How is JJ against your range? IIRC variance flip IIRC which is where reads are nice because there's dead monees in the pot.

I agree w/ spenda - the overbet pot squeeze is something many bad players do, but they do it w/ KK+

he has a 7PFR so i'm never giving him credit for a squeeze (or most anyone at these limits for that matter. overbet only reenforces this read.
i say forget that you ever heard of the squeeze play until you get to 50NL or start playing tourneys. can work AGAINST some nitty players but i'm not putting anyone on the play ever

I'm folding this preflop. He is raising a 4BB bet out of position by a silly amount. His stats are 9/7. I'm putting him on KK+ or maybe AKs and folding.
Now if he was some donk, I'd probably play.
