15 days ago I started playing SnG NL Holdem on pokerstars. In the past year I turned 2000 play money chips into 11.4 Million (on single table and multi table SnGs), and felt I wanted to take a stab at real poker online.

In the beginning I was all over the place, losing a lot of money.
I read some strategy guides and tried following the advices.
My play continued erratic, but my bankroll was going up and down (down and up actually), instead of just down. I stayed off the $20 games, and stuck to the $10 tables.

I kept playing... and now I hit a groove where I'm often in the money. I think I eliminated a lot of bonehead calls and raises from my game... but maybe not folds yet... I think I sometimes still fold the best hand... I improved my early game, seeing some flops when appropriate, and taking advantage of that. I also improved my bubble game... learning when (and who) to just call or slightly raise, and not just going all in at every marginally big hand in position. I'm still unsure about how to play some hands at the bubble, like for instance K8s in middle pos with no raises behind me.... And I've taken full advantage of sheer aggression (mixing it up a bit) against timid players on the 1 on 1 battle for 1st place.

Anywho, in the past 8 games (past day) I finished 3 times out of the money, 1 3rd place, and 3 1st places. (153 bucks from an $88 investment).
And I lost the fish icon from my sharkscope profile (My ROI went from -33% to -20%)

I hope it's not just a random streak.. I do think it means I'm really improving...
I know I still have a long ways to go.. but after a lot of bad days, today really brightened things up. Now, on to a positive ROI.

So thanks for this website, thanks for the forum advice!

I have no interest in discussing strategy with a protege'. Your job is to remain quiet and listen. I have a very systematic approach that I will share with the right candidate and I promise that I will turn you into a force of nature and show you elements of the game of poker that you never knew existed.
