Well this is the first time I'm considering playing seriously again since neteller went down a couple years ago so I'm starting at the bottom and hopefully will work my way up. I kinda suck though. A couple hands for comments.

I just sat at this table so I have no hud stats on this guy at all. I'm not sure if I should raise for value on the river here or just call. Is the turn good for pot control?

SB ($13.25)

Preflop: Hero is Button with K, Q
UTG calls $0.25, UTG+1 calls $0.25, 3 folds, Hero raises to $1.25, 3 folds, UTG+1 calls $1

Turn: ($11.10) 8 (2 players)
UTG+1 checks, Hero checks

River: ($11.10) Q (2 players)
UTG+1 bets $3.50, Hero .......

I just sat down at this table too but I looked at the previous hands and he had won like 3 or 4 of the last 5 pots so I had him as really loose. What would be the the play for most value here?

Hand 1 I'd just call.....you're wa/wb here and will see the Ac just about every time given villains position and preflop play. It could almost be a fold but JJ with Jc could be taking a shot, I just expect to see Axc here way too often.

Hand 2, don't post . Other than that, raise to $12, call the shove and see you're against a set. At this level, min-raise is 99% a set so expect him to turn up with 77 or 22 here nearly every time.
