No. Given how much the big sites have to lose if it was to be found that their software introduced a vulnerability to viruses, I'm sure they are doing everything they can to avoid this.

Still, you should have anti-virus software on your computer (ensuring that the virus database/definitions are up to date).

I don't think I've ever heard of a site that gives it's players viruses.

I've heard about scammers pretending to be Mr.X from Absolute Poker in an e-mail, asking you to click a link in an e-mail to download the "new" software. Avoid those sort of things and you should be fine.
