SB and BB fold to very small cbets. Usually I would've made this quite bigger, but i noticed them folding to half pot cbets

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $0.10 BB (6 handed) - Poker-Stars Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com

saw flop

UTG ($17.20)
MP ($2)
CO ($16.80)
Hero (Button) ($20.35)
SB ($12.85)
BB ($2.15)

Preflop: Hero is Button with 9, Q
3 folds, Hero raises to $0.40, SB calls $0.35, 1 fold

Flop: ($0.90) Q, J, 5 (2 players)
SB checks, Hero bets $0.50, SB calls $0.50

Turn: ($1.90) 10 (2 players)
SB checks, Hero checks

River: ($1.90) 8 (2 players)
SB bets $1.20, Hero raises to $4, SB raises to $8, Hero calls $4

Total pot: $17.90 | Rake: $0.85

If they fold to half pot cbets, does that mean they fold to full pot vbets? When they call, are they that much more likely to fold for twenty extra cents? (You bet half the pot anyways...)

I bet the turn too (You can has pairs and draw too).

Him betting the river kinda sucks, but there are a lot nines or two pair hands he could have that he'd bet b/c you took the cbet/give up on turn line looking line. I'm not sure I would raise here though.
Ich grolle nicht...

I wouldnt really raise the river bet.Partly because he c/c and c/c and fire river.Seems weird. Then again. Those min-bets really sucks, but we gotta keep our composure not calling them.

Bet sizing is fine on the flop imo. Turn I could go either way with (but i'd bet again vs most villains) and river is fray bentos but I can't fold even though we're calling for a chop at best. River raise is thin but i honestly can't see myself just calling here, u only lose to 2 hands.

I don't like raising the river because only a straight will call the raise. Sets either raise you or do the "lol, I JUST called the flop, but I'll donk the turn anyway making it obvious I have a monster"

what are you hoping will call a river raise, set of tens, set of eights? are you praying for two pair to call?

c/c on flop with that board on the flop screams draw IMO. as played i would guess split pot with straights and just call initial river bet.
i would probably bet turn, maybe $1.50, and fold to a raise (but not min).. you'd get a better feel for where he was at.

Meh, it's def thin, but I've seen ppl play sets this badly before, the lack of a turn donk bet doesn't entirely rule it out. He could've been going for the turn c/r. And some ppl just don't bet/fold ever no matter what the board looks like.

i think sets and two pairs will call. after a re-raise i knew i was beat, but at these stakes i think its still marginally +EV to get value from sets and two pairs
